ALEXANDRIA, IN- Max E.W. Elsworth, 88, Alexandria, passed away on July 20, 2018 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus in Anderson following an extended illness.

He was born on October 29, 1929 in Granville, Indiana to Carlos and Opal (Sayre) Elsworth and has lived in Alexandria all of his lifetime. Max graduated from Alexandria High School-Class of 1948. He served his country in the United States Marines and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He worked for RCA, formerly of Marion for 30 years. His job was as a traveling technician, which took him to other cities and countries, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was a licensed pilot and he also enjoyed bowling. Max invested himself in his family. A large part of his retirement was spent with family and friends at Mesick, Michigan where he hunted mushrooms and fished the Manistee River.
