Obituary for Doug Moree

ALEXANDRIA, IN – Doug Moree, 56, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.

He was born on October 4, 1961 in York County, South Carolina and has lived in Alexandria since 1997. Doug served his country in the United States Air Force from 1979 to 1987. He had worked at RCA formerly of Marion and Red Gold for 5 years. He was a bowler and enjoyed all kinds of music and was especially fond of Jimmy Buffett.

Wife-Dawn (Lineberry) Moree-married November 6, 1999
3 Sons-Devin (Mary) Moree-Indianapolis, Brandon (Kaitlyne) Lineberry-Tulsa, Oklahoma,
Christian Moree (Michael East)-Alexandria
2 Grandchildren-Natalie Moree, Jayden Lineberry
3 Sisters and a Brother
Several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edna (Mason) Moree

A gathering time to celebrate Doug’s life and legacy will take place on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 3 pm to 5 pm in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria. Cremation will follow the visitation with private disposition of cremains to follow at the convenience of the family.
