Obituary for William E. McLaughlin Jr.

ALEXANDRIA, IN- William E. “Bill” McLaughlin Jr., 71, passed away on June 21, 2018 surround by his loving family.
He was born on March 15, 1947 in Anderson to William and Ella (Willhoite) McLaughlin and has lived in Alexandria for most of his lifetime. Bill was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School-Class of 1965 and attended Ball State University for 2 years. He served his country in both the United States Marines and United States Navy. For most of his life, Bill has been involved in construction and worked with his father at Mac’s Construction. He was a member of the Frankton American Legion and the American Legion Riders. He enjoyed riding, tinkering with motorcycles, fishing and camping.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, a daughter-Krystal McLaughlin, a granddaughter-Natalie McLaughlin

Services honoring Bill’s life and legacy will take place at 7 pm on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in the New Day Baptist Church, 202 West Tyler Street, Alexandria with Pastor Chris Hubler officiating. Military Honors will follow the services. Cremation will take place. Friends may call at the church after 5 pm on Tuesday prior to the services.
