Obituary for William "Chicago Bill" Mulcahy

ANDERSON, IN- William J. “Chicago Bill” Mulcahy, 73, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.

Bill was born on December 25, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois and has lived in the Anderson area for the past 16 years. He served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965. He retired from Commonwealth Edison as a power lineman in 1995 after 32 years of employment. Bill was a member of the Alexandria Eagles-#1771, Anderson VFW, AmVets and American Legion. He enjoyed fishing and target shooting.

Wife-Ellen (Bartoli) Mulcahy-married October 24, 1964
Son-William C. (Elisabeth) Mulcahy-Cedar Lake
6 Grandchildren-Haylei, Bryce, Aiden, Teagan, Paisleigh and Maverick
Brother-David E. (Gypsie) Mulcahy-La Porte
Nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Bill’s life will be announced in the near future to be held at the Alexandria Eagles Lodge. Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria is honored to care for Bill and serve the Mulcahy family.

Saturday June 30th From Noon to 2pm, The Mulcahy Family Will Have A Celebration of Life for Our Own "Chicago Bill" At The Alexandria Eagles. Finger Food's provided. (Welcome to bring something if you wish) At 12:30 There Will be A Memorial Service in Honor of Our Fellow Eagle Brother.
